love and passion for this game... It is not only a game, it is the union of the
world under the euphoria of a divine conviviality...Everyone has a reason to celebrate, from the blast of the whistle of the first game, to the blast of the whistle of the last game. The land of a great culture, tradition, spirituality and divinity is about to host the rest of the world under the umbrella of a beautiful and unifying game.
TheOlympic has its own spirit, the Europa league has its own passion, the commonwealth games has its own uniqueness, tennis, golf and cricket have theirvarious qualities, but the FIFA World Cup coming to Brazil has more thantradition, history, passion and dedication behind it, what it carries is beyondthe physical, it has transcended into the spiritual not leaving out a beautifulreality for us all to feel and wallow in.
We all pray that our ambassadors represent us well, Cotedivore, Nigeria, Cameroun, Ghana and Algeria... The power of our Ancestors, will protect you, the struggles of our heroes be behind you, and may the power of the one who made heaven and the earth be with you all, may you come back home victorious, no battle will be lost on that soil, though it is a foreign land, our minds and heart will not be moved.
Tell the gods of Brazil we are coming, let the people and the land get ready, for something unusual, hearts and souls are about to roar and shout till the see glory, never let anyone tell you this story. A gathering of the high and mighty, low and high, powerful and arrogant, loving and unfriendly, enemies and foes will dine and trade tackles under the glaring eyes of the world. Please don’t hold your breath, it is not the best, because what you are about to see will leave you breathless.
I can’t wait, my imagination is getting wary, my mind is gradually playing tricks on me, all i want is to behold the 2014 world cup; that is what the world is waiting for, so let it pour. Wet our appetite with the sweet taste of joy, hope, fear, tears, pride, unity, peace, love and wonder.
Though some stars are missing, sadly, but that won’t stop the sky in Brazil from smiling, that won’t put on hold the ecstasy that the world will feel and live in for this moment, records will be set and broken, brace yourself because this flight is taking you a destination of marvels and utmost glory.
